I just today built a system and booted it up. It booted twice, just long enough for me to change two options in the BIOS. The first option was to change the standard memory FSB to 1066 instead of 800, and the second change was to remove the stupid warning for not having the floppy drive installed. After the change to the RAM, I changed the floppy settings, so I was able to POST and get to the BIOS after changing the RAM settings, and I in turn changed the floppy settings. After changing the floppy setting I wanted to be sure the Reset SW worked and upon hitting the reset SW, the computer "reset", but did not POST. Now I have a brick of a machine sitting in front of me, and no matter what hardware I remove/change, the result is the same, no POST. The hardware configuration is as follows:

CPU: Intel Quad Core Duo Q9300 2.5ghz 6MB L2 Cache 1333 FSB 45nm
MOBO: EVGA 780i Tri-SLI
RAM: Corsair Dominator 1066 DDR2 4GB(2x2gb)
GPU: EVGA 8800 GTS 512MB PCI-E x16 (x2)

I have tried resetting the CMOS with no change in POST status, and I have also removed all non-essential POST hardware such as Hard Drives, CD-Rom Drives, any connectors related to USB, FireWire, etc..

I am at a loss for why the system will not post all of a sudden, and am looking for any ideas as to what the problem may be.

Edit: The status indicator that's supposed to give me the code for whatever the status of the mobo is reads "25" on board, after displaying C1 and C3.

According to the mobo manual those codes are as follows:

C1: CMOS Battery Check(I assume is fine)
C3: Test Timer
25: Shadow VBIOS(Shadow System/Video BIOS) - Not quite sure what this means or why.

This may be of some help to those seeking to assist me in my troubleshooting.

EVGA customer care claims bad board, however I'm not so sure. This is after he insisted that both of my brand new video cards were bunk also. Anyone else agree about the mobo?
