I have a friend that uses a E8500 and Scythe Mugen II, but his CPU isn't clocked to 4 GHz only 3.6GHz. It is a good cooler tho.

I have a mugen II on my i7 rig but cant say its all that could considering how good the review were on it, Essentially reviews seem to think performed to same level as TRUE or cooler master v8 if thats true then they too must be very average at keeping an i7 cold. at 3.5ghz im idling round 40 degrees and ful load can be up to 80 depending on ambient temps. So would not reccomend mugen 2.
