Hey guys I got a question for you.

What would explain a 2000 higher 3DMark Score at stock speed compared to an overclocked CPU?

I ran 3DMark at stock speeds with a 17500 score. Then I it ran again after an overclock with a score of 15300.

CPU: Core i7 920 @ 2.67Ghz (3.5Ghz Overclocked)
GPU: SAPPHIRE 100270SR Radeon HD 4850 X2 2GB 512-bit
Motherboard: Asus P6T
Memory: CORSAIR DOMINATOR 3GB (3 x 1GB) 1600 (PC3 12800)

Most likely the Overclock is unstable. If you haven't already test the sucker with Prime95 Small FFT.

That or it's heat, causing the CPU to throttle thus lowering your score. Only things i can think off the top of my head.

And maybe make sure your memory ratio/speed is correct.
