Removed my maxtor drive, put it back in and now XP sees it as a MAXOUS 7L1413 drive! And XP wants me to reformat it! I have data on it so I cant reformat it! help!

Update, the drive should be / was a Maxtor D740X-6L 40GB, does anyone think it could be a XP driver issue? Or is the drive toast and I just need to reformat it?
