Changing The Bios

Hey, well this is my first post here about my first Gigabyte motherboard haha. Ok so basically, I have enabled AHCI, and my PCI slot (instead of the intergrated vga), and 2 weird things happen:

1)along boot screen that gives me an option to use some hyperdrive thing for AHCI, I would like to disable this boot screen, but obviously still use AHCI vs ide.

2)a bunch of code runs up and down my screen before vista boots up, and it's related to "vga", I guess disabling it everytime and setting it to PCI, even tho thats already how I have configuired it in the bios...

^^And just another thing, I have used that facewizard thing, but it only sets an image, and about that: anyway to change the amout of time that it sits on the initial boot screen (ex: 3 seconds vs 1)?

So basically, im asking about bios/boot screen modification tools, thanks for the help guys!

HOWEVER: BE CAREFUL, and if you don't know EXACTLY what you're doing - DON"T DO IT! BIOS modification is much like genetic mutation - most common effect is a 'stillborn' motherboard! That said, some of these tools will allow you to lock & unlock parts of the BIOS menus, change boot screens, & the like...
