Hi all! I have a new rig on order, here are the [important] specs:

Apevia X-Jupiter Jr S-Type case w/ 250mm fan
Asus P6T6 motherboard
i7 920

I'm going to be doing some moderate overclocking, so I want a good CPU heatsink/cooler. I've heard that taller coolers will not fit due to interference with the 250mm side fan on the case, but I can't seem to find which coolers actually DO fit. Can anyone who has been there and done that recommend a cooler for me? Thanks!

I want to stick with air. Since I'm not going balls out I can't justify the extra cost of water, and the idea of water (even distilled) near sensitive electronics just doesn't sit well with me. I guess I'm set in my ways!

I was initially looking at the Thermalright Ultra 120 and the Cooler Master V8, but they look awfully tall.

c420, thank goodness you want to stick with air. Any ThrmalTake watercooling system is a fail. Documented by many.

Smart you are.

Check your setup, you chose the TRUe and V8, very good choice. Measure research etc.
