Hi all,

currently building a new system and would love some input on a good case for it. What I'm buying is this:

Motherboard : Asus Striker II Extreme
CPU : INTEL CORE 2 QUAD CORE Q9450 2.66 GHZ LGA775 - 1333 FSB
Heatsink: ZALMAN CNPS9700 NT LED
RAM : CORSAIR XMS3 DHX DDR3 4GB (2X2GB) PC3-12800 (1600MHZ) DUAL CHANNEL KIT
Graphix : ASUS EN9800GX2/2DI 1GB PCI-E (might go for GTX 280 )
HD1: RAPTOR X 150GB WD1500AHFD 10000RPM SATA CRYSTAL CLEAR
HD2: SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB SATA2
CD/DVD : PLEXTOR PX-B920SA COMBO BLU-RAY REWRITER BLACK

That is what I have going currently. Now my concern is what Case to get. I want excellent cooling, I'm not sure If i should go Liquid cooling, seems like a hassle; I much prefer air cooling, but in the end if liquid does the job best then I'll do that.

Current cases Im looking at are:

THERMALTAKE VD500LBNA LIQUID SWORD M BLACK

COOLERMASTER RC-1100 COSMOS S

THERMALTAKE VG4000BWS XASER VI WINDOW BLACK

any impressions on the above? Or could anyone suggest a better case?

Thank you in advance@!

I'd go for a Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme with a 120mm Nexus Fan for the cpu by the way.

Also, a Thermalright HR-03 with another Nexus fan would be great for the graphics card cooling.

Can't get Nexus make here. Arctic cooling 120mm will do?

Yeah, they actually make really nice ones. Try to get one with the Fluid Dynamic Bearing in it. My 92mm one is almost impossible to hear at 12v
