I have 2 WD hard drives( 1 TB and a 500GB) that are not showing on My Computer any more.It just stopped showing. When I plug the USB cable in, Windows recognizes that the device is there; it loads the drivers and says that the device is ready to use. However, the drive does not appear in My Computer. Also, I have right-clicked on my computer and then the Manage option, and under Disk Management, I do not see the drive. I have the same problem with both drives. I have changed usb cables, tried different computers with different ops(Vista, Window 7 and XP), reboot it and it always have the same problem. I have a lot of important software on both drives. I need your help to at least get all my documents safe

Remove the drives from the enclosure and hook them up directly to a computer.
