Hello,
There are files on my C drive that wont delete, these files are program files from previous installations. They are eating up my drive and slowing my cpu down to the point where i cant even watch movies because its slow and choppy where i used to have live hdtv on this same system. Some one please help.

What are the names of those files? Perhaps it isn't those files that are the problem but something entirely different.

It really sounds like a PSU shortfall, if this is a desktop Pc then you would need at least 550 watts PSU with a mid-range video card.

Provide more details for better replies.

Having files on the computer that are just sitting there do 0 do cause slowness issues. Do you have at least 10% free disk space? If you did not do a format before each setup you will be left with the old setup files and old program directories.

Re-install Windows, this time for a format of the drive before installing it. Make sure your files are backed up first as a format will wipe everything off the disk.
