SSD - The Performance Upgrade of the Future
Hi guys, trying to build a new system, but cant decide on which Mobo to pick because I have heard positive and negatives for both. As an aside, the following will be going on with the MoBo: E8400 9800GT 512MB (these are cheaper then 4850 and are around the same price as the 8800GT in my country) Transcend Jetram 4GB DDR2-800 PC6400 CL5 Dual Channel 2x2GB Some has recommended me to get an ASUS video card with the Gigabyte Mobo....but isnt it a bad practise to mix manufacturers? Cheers for the help in advance !
LOL. You can mix brands of parts. Heck, ATI lets you mix HD 4850 & HD 4870. You can also mix EVGA with BFG 9800 GT cards. Are you going to SLI and/or overclock the cpu? SLI: EVGA 780i CF: ASUS P5Q PRO, GA-EP45-DS3R, etc.
Yup, planning to Xfire later when I get the money, and overclock for sure
FYI, P45 does only x8 CF whereas X38/X48 do x16 CF. If that's your concern, get the GA-EX38-DS4.
Cheers
