First Time Build-Mid/High System

I am building a new computer for the first time. Could you all please review my components and tell me if I have everything set. I am going to use a Samsung 226BW (Is this the best choice for no input lag?) as well, because I am an FPS gamer who cannot handle input lag/ghosting. I will also be using the monitor to game on my Xbox360 with Halo 3, so once again no input lag is important. Anyway, here are the rest of the components.

Use 64bit Vista instead of 32bit. For hdd, 500gb models has the best $/gb ratio, and ones with 32mb cache are reasonably fast.

They all seem so close it's hard to understand which would be best.

From specs, I'd say the BenQ monitor is better. While the 5ms response time is higher than 2ms of one of the other models, 5ms is still quite good. It supports higher max resolution than the other two, which should be more significant.

Yeah, the higher resolution does look appealing. However, I used to have a Sony FW-900 24 inch CRT, so this transition to LCD gaming has been rough. I am really looking for just the fastest response time for my first person shooters.

Realistically, the response time of the monitor should be a lot faster than fps your video card can pump out at that kind of resolutions. Besides, CRT flickers between frames, while lcd's fram stay constant until refreshed, so it's harder for you to notice low fps. The actual reason many gamers initially look down on lcd is merely because they're more comfortable with crt. It's a bias that has now mostly gone away. You'll be hard pressed to fine anyone still recommending crt.
