Are the temps at idle or load? If at load they're fine if at idle then you got something wrong.

Yep there at idle dont know why they are so high V10 is only at 800RPM anyway to raise the RPM of the fans?

Should I put in the stock cooler and return the V10?

OK So I put in back the stock Cooler from Intel I am getting 40C Idle is that normal?

yes that's fine for idle but you should check the temps at full load

Yeah 40C is normal for the stock cooler.

I also had my 920 @ 3.5ghz and with zalman 9500 and in a Antec skeleton open air case with 250mm fan blowing down on everything was still getting between 40c idle and 90+c at full load under prime95, so I went with a Swiftech water cooling system and now I'm running 32c idle and 60c at full load and passing Prime95 with no issues. also noted that in game temps stay around 40-45c for hours of gaming as due my 2 9800GT's in SLI with Zalman coolers thats at ultra settings with AA in Crysis,FarCry2,Fallout 3, etc. the only thing in my system that makes heat is my power supply which is also a Zalman 750w heatpipe edition.
