How do i change my DDR3 settings?

It's really dependent on your motherboard and BIOS if you can change your CAS timings or not. The screenshot unfortunately doesn't reveal what motherboard you use.

(And why are you using a screenshot from a website? :p)

no, i had it on that timing the whole time until i went to my RAM on newegg, then i realized, "ooohhh it's supposed to be that timing or something..."

but honestly, how much of a difference is there from the 9 timings to the 8 timings?

because that's my mobo's RAM config screen... now where exactly do you mess around with it?
 
If you are not sure of the values, set it to Auto except for the memory voltage.
You do wanto to specify that.
Not much difference between 8 and 9, though you do not want memory errors.

 



Not much - You can measure it with artificial benchies, but you'd never be able to tell the difference in real world apps.
