SSD - The Performance Upgrade of the Future
i bent a capacitator...but only slight...is it still ok?
Why did you bend it?
You should not bend then as that can damage them. There is still a good chance it is still alive. There is only one way to find out
It should be fine as long as the points to the motherboard still have contacts.
If you mean "bent the leads" then probably If you really "bent the capacitor" it is then totally f*****!! Bending the leads can cause failure in the solder joints or metal fatigue which will cause the capacitor to break off the PCB... Don't do it!! Just power up that 8800 Ultra / Intel X48 MB and I'm sure all will be fine!! Bob
Its when you bend too far that the leads(wires) actually pull the guts out of a cap, then you know you have a problem.
thanks you all!
thanks all of you!
