CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor OEM
Im getting the OEM version because I am getting an aftermarket cooler.

Graphics: GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

RAM: mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

MOBO: I Need help here. I want something thats current that will overclock well. I have used DFI in the past but I havent heard of any good 775 boards. Help Please:P

HDD: Seagate Barracuda ES.2 ST3250310NS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Case: Thermaltake M9 VI1000BWS Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V V2.2 Power Supply

After Market Cooler: ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler

Also Vista Home Premium. I have a gaming mouse and KB. And I use my 32inch LCD TV as a monitor.

My intentions with the build is play lots of games. Mostly MMO's and FPS. I also want to Overclock for fun. Im not in it to try to make my machine run a lot faster. Thats just a bonus:P

So any changes I should make? And Mobo Advice maybe?

Maybe one of the new P43/P45 mobos, just out with PCIe2.0. Here's an early review of the ASUS ones http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3309
they range in price from $85 to almost $300
I'd probably go with an X48 though if going high end

if ur playing games
xp pro with serv pack 2 is the way to go
vista is still no good lol
and windows is coming out with a new os
save ur money
and if ur not gonna use sli get an asus mobo
and look into how many watts ur build will need 550w might not be enough
