If i got a the windows cd that came with this computer can i use it

well i got windows xp and i wonted a differenct internet so i put fire fox on and now every thing is all messed up i got a black screen help me

We can help, but you'll need to describe what and how is messed up.

Firefox is just a browser. It's an alternative to Internet Explorer. It doesn't effect your internet connection. If you want to switch back to IE, just open it, and it'll ask you if you want to make it your default browser. Say yes, and it'll switch any associations back from Firefox to IE.
