The infrared light supposedly stimulates brain cells to regenerate and, according to the researchers, can reverse dementia in just a few weeks. Read more

well, i wanna improve my airflow in my cm stacker 830 evo... and i was thinking switching to reverse atx might be the best possible/free solution

of course, my rear fan would have to become and intake instead of exhaust, the two bottom fan bracket fans will be intake, and top/two top on fan bracket/psu/2x 2900xt's will be exhaust

thats 4 intake and 5 exhaust i believe, i dont know what CFM these run on... ill have to turn my artic cooler freezer 7 around so it won't conflict with the airflow of the rear fan

this may also give me more space for future watercooling which im planning on...

a picture for reference, i don't know how to paste pictures up, sorry for my incompetence [i figured it out i think]

1) my video cards produce alotta heat, and them being on top should keep my other components from heating up too much correct?

2) is there any other fan config any1 might want to offer? or if i should stay atx or flip it up??

i have a maximus formula se and things already get quite hot.. i reseated the nb/sb heatsinks with mx-2 but still pretty hot, too cheap for the 40mm fan on heat sink trick right now... this will be one of the few modifications i wanna make to my case, one step at a time though, this is the free-est as of yet =D

isnt the flip side for BTX, the stacker is a great case, i would leave it as it is.

I would also leave it as it is. No need to reinvent the wheel and make an elypse out of it is there?

flip side is for btx and reverse atx, they are different... btx is more like a mirrored version of atx, most dell's use btx

reverse atx is when you take and atx and flip it upside down, video cards are on top.

this gives me more room for water cooling i guess... i won't change it yet, but ill see how things go

any1 else have any input? thanks for the link delluser1, thats something very similar of what i want
[its not btx, its reverse atx]
