Hi all,

Looking for some expert advice for a PC case.

Requirements:

- Full tower case "I need a big case that can support big cards "GX2 & SLI" and have enough room for several fans.
- Aluminium
- Air cooling
- Lowest noise level possible
- Price open

I'm afraid of the water cooling because of leaks and because i don't much about "don't want to have to maintain it". I have several cases with water cooling already installed but i'm told that those usually suck?

If you know of a case with water cooling already installed and that works great then please feel free to tell me about it.

Thanks for your advices.

As cases with interated watercooling go this is probably the best although it's been around a little while.

The CM 690 and Antec 900 are mid-tower cases but still both big enough to fit a couple very large video cards (although a little tight)

I have the Cooler Master RC832

although it's been discontinued you can still get the 830 Evolution

Both are big enough to fit anything you might ever want to put in it. The newer model has a few features not found in mine like built in holes for watercooling and cable management among other improvements.

If you just want a big, well built, no non-sense case then I would look at this

Lian Li make some of the best cases there are and this is one of their best

All the cases I've listed so far are on the higher end of the price scale but all are outstanding. The problem is that for a quality all aluminum full tower your likely going to be in the $200 and up price range.

I've got a Lian-Li V2000 that I'm willing to sell for the ultra low price of $100USD plus shipping. See the specs here. Please note that this is not the "plus" version with the side fans but the original V-2000.

It meets all of your requirements, and then some! It is a beautiful, well crafted case that will hold whatever hardware you can put in it. If interested, PM me...

I would personally go for a Thermaltake Armor+. Big case, looks great, lots of room, and a removable motherboard tray. If side windows aren't your thing, I highly suggest Silverstone or Lian Li cases.

Thermaltake Armor+

Silverstone TJ 07 (If money is not an issue)

Lian Li Armorsuit PC-P60

That's my two cents even though it seems like splurging.

I like the Armor cases but I've never liked the dumb little sort of doors they have which is why I didn't mention them. They are good cases though.

Guys,

Appreciate all the feedback, I'm still going through all the replies but I wanted to make a couple of things clear.

- It has to be a Full Tower "Mid towers didn't work for me in the past".
- The case has to be in Aluminum "For it's obvious qualities".
- Price in not a concern "As long as it's worth it", i would also be willing to buy from another country + S&H, if it's only available in a certain market".

Thanks

Good choice I'm sure you'll love it.

Two things though.

The sides are a little hard to get on and off at first but once you do it a few times they go easy and second if you have a tall tower CPU cooler you might have to remove one of the side fans. I have a TRUE and this is what mine looks like

I've done a little cable management since this picture
