Hello all,

i have a new HD sub-system (JBOD) that is for my programs data, etc. I understand its speeds up the system and could be safer also.

my question is:
should i attach the new HD sub-system as a HD, i.e. D:\ ?
or
attach to a Folder, i.e. C:\DATA\ ?

which is perferred for system data if speed is key, i.e. audio & video editing?

thanks,

billy

I'd rather create a new drive. You'll want to keep your application/OS separate from your data as much as possible.
