Hello all,

I am building a demo unit for a product. On the XP laptop we only have one nic, however, I wish it to have two IPs. This is easily done with aliasing, but I want for example the laptop to use one IP for all traffic except for the MODBUS traffic with the HMI controller. The Modbus traffic to use another IP. Thus our device sees two "machines" on the network.

QOS is another way, any ideas?

Ron

Ex:

/Laptop HMI software 192.168.1.30
PLC ----------<
\ Laptop 192.168.1.20
