I've finally gotten around to putting together a new system to replace my aging 6600GT/A64 3000 system and I'm wondering how these parts are.

Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115018
Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820227269
Videocard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130350
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817341001

I ordered an ASUS P5K Deluxe WiFi ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813131182 ) but I'm having second thoughts about it. A few reviews said it doesn't work well with the Q6600 and 4GB of ram, both of which I am using. Also didn't realize until after I ordered it that it's not an SLI board.

I was looking at some DFI boards and was wondering how those are? Any suggestions on motherboards would be appreciated.

You're surely late to the party. Forget P35. Look at P45 for about the same price. i.e. ASUS P5Q-E or GA-EP45-DS3R.

That review is B.S. If you're good, you can run the mobo with any supported cpu & ram. If they're talking about overclocking, maybe a few percent difference.

Do not touch DFI unless you like to spend a week or so to get it to work.

Apparently, BioStar is the new OC king for p45 chipset. Yeah, you heard right... :na:

Asus made its name back when p35 first came out.
Gigabyte made its name with x38/x48 boards.
