Which is better? 3Dmark06, 05, or vantage ? I can score 13757 on 06 but i crashed on Vantage. I dont get it. I have a 4830 oc'ed to 700/1160 and a Phenom II 720 oc'ed to 3.5 with just a multiplier increase.

Have you checked the stability of your system with programs like Prime 95 and OCCT? I recently overclocked my i7 920 to 3.6GHz and tested with 21.5 hours of OCCT and stepped up to 3.7GHz and tested with 17.5 hours of Prime 95 Small FFTs with no errors/warnings.

Have you also run Memtest or the Blend option on Prime95? It could be a memory issue.

Also, list the full specs of your system. List every major component including the PSU.

I, and I'm sure others would agree, a low quality PSU such as the one you have, can have disastrous effects if it fails. I would highly recommend a higher quality PSU over the one you currently have. With your system's electrical current draw, a 500W PSU would suffice. Here is a great article to inform you on the actual power consumption of computer comonents.

Here is a recommendation of a power supply that I would by myself if I had your system.

If you want to add another 4830 in CrossX, you would need a larger PSU such as:

These are both great power supplies and both will work very well for your current system. A PSU supplies all of the power to your system. This should be the last component you cut corners with. In my last system, my PSU was one of my most expensive components. Think of it like a cheap insurance plan.

I'm sorry to hear that. My first PSU was made by Allied, which is much worse than Raidmax or Ultra. It was my first build and I threw it away after a month. I then got the PSU I am still using today which has been used in three different systems.
