The extra two pins on the 8 pin connector are added ground wires for a 12v connection. If possible, use use the two 12v 6 pin connectors to power the card, same power just added grounding.

Recent video cards draw more 12v power from the PSU than older, less powerful cards. That's why the 8 pin connector with the added grounding.

/confused >_< well, while I decipher that, in your opinion with a 700W OCZ GameXStream PSU, If I was to use a converter that took both my PCI-E connectors and turned it into a 8pin connector, and then took a 2X molex conversion into one 6pin, would my power supply be enough to handle it.

I'm leaning towards yes, myself.

I don't follow. Your OCZ 700w PSU has enough 12v power to power any single card on the market. Go ahead and buy a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter. Like I tried to explain to you, the extra 2 pins on the 8 pin 12v adapter are ground wires added for more recent, more power drawing video cards. I was trying to explain if you can just 'stick' both 6 pins you have in the card GO AHEAD! At least until you get an adapter.
