New Laptop with Windows 7 Installed

Hello,
I want to transfer my legit copy of XP onto my new laptop.
When I tried to boot from CD it went so far then came up with an error message I don`t really feel comfortable with & can anyone help

So you want to install Windows XP on a new laptop that has Windows 7, is that correct? Just want to clarify.

Also, what is the "error message" you are getting?
