Please help me.. Building a PC need help on setup. Please help!

I have just put in everything on my custom built PC. I have a Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G motherboard and I believe that I have hooked up everything correctly.
But I am having a problem with powering on. I press the power button, then the PSU will spin for a few repetitions then it will not do anything... I was wandering what connections I could check, and what are some possible solutions.
Please let me know.

Post your full system specs and we might be able to advise...

Did you connect the 4 pin power connection on your motherboard?

check you bios make sure your cpu and mobo work with that bios

then unplug all hardware
