The little thing that says crossfire in catalyst on the side bar went away, does that mean crossfire disabled or my card is broken?
I don't really want to worry about this so much, is there another way to check if both cards are running?

Yup, down and dirty way to check is with GPU-Z.
At the bottom it will the "ATI CrossFire" section and it should say "Enabled (2 GPUs)".
If it is not working, it will tell you "Disabled".
At that point, check and see if GPU-Z will show the information for the second card and post back with your full system specs.
