It's a prebuilt gateway and the card is bare nvidia (no evga, xfx etc.), and I can't seem to overclock it very much without having drivers crash. The card was already factory overclocked at 650/950/1625, and when I overclock it to 700/970/1760 my drivers keep crashing, do I need to lower the clocks or is there another issue? The fan is only at 75% and it does not pass 75 under load.

Also, how do I overclock my Q9300 without the BIOS? The gateway BIOS doesn't seem to allow overclocking.

To overclock you'll probably need a software overclocking tool, overclocking isn't very easy on OEM computers.

just download rivatuner, crank up fan speed and start raising the core and memory
