Hey , i bought this card because i saw many good reviews.
Heres my question : i get 50-100 fps in counter strike source ( high settings )
I dont think this is normal because my friend gets 100-160 fps with a build in card.
Can someone help me out? :(

I have installed the latest drivers and didnt OC ( yet ) .

There are other factors to consider, cpu speed, memory. One thing 50fps is faster then the human eye can see so at that speed it should be pretty smooth.

If Vsync was enabled, he'd be stuck at 60FPS, or if he is using a higher a refresh rate, whatever that may be.

Like Stoner and dameon said, there's many other factors that will determine your performance in games. The obvious ones are differences in settings such as resolution, Anti Aliasing, Anisotropic Filtering, and eye candy (Texture Detail, Reflections, Lighting, ect.;)

Besides game settings, you could have other differences, such as your CPU, your RAM, and your hard drive, not to mention OS differences and differences in background processes running.

Either way, at the FPS you are playing at, you will not see any difference between 100 and 150, so there's no need to worry, unless you are trying enlarge your e-peen.

Increase the resolution. At that resolution your CPU is being used more than your GPU. At high resolutions is when your GPU really shines.

Up it to 1600X1200 and see what happens.
