I have an HP Mini 1010NR....I reloaded the original image from the HP site computer opens up to some old Linux crap. It used to have Windows XP on it...I have tried to download Windows Boot Disk and Windows XP program but it will not execute the file. Can't change permissions either. There is no CD/ROM drive so I'm trying to do everything with a USB drive. I need to get Windows installed....HELP!!!

Several vendors offer Linux on their PCs, you probably got the wrong image. Check the documentation that came with the computer, you should have a bootable partition on there that will allow you to restore XP to it.
