I have GPS McNally Streetfinder for Palm III. Unfortunately there
isn’t original documentation for the device. Old kind of the
device had two colors LED for indication of charging process. My one
hasn’t it
Please answer me how has the same device: how long time I have to
charge it?

Thanks advance.

I've got one; I'll see if I can dig up the docs at home. I think it
wanted me to let it charge for 24 hours the first time. Mostly I keep
it plugged in to the car charger continuously. It takes quite a while
to sync up when first activated; if I leave it powered up, it always
has a valid position.

Since it's a lithium battery, the key is to keep it as charged as
possible as often as possible; it'll last much longer then.

Thank you Ray for your explanation.
My device is not new - I bought it on eBay without docs and a charger.
I'm using a charger from Motorola VHF transmitter - it gives the best
fit for the socket connector of Streetfinder.

Best regards
