Why cant i open my computer on windows 7

why cant i open my computer on windows 7? and each time i try and do something a popup say, windows explore is not responding... help

There is probably a disk or storage device which your computer is looking for but couldn't find, causing non responsiveness when you open my computer. Can you list what drives you have installed, including network drives.

When you open your computer?
Like install windows?
Or Turn On?
Or wake up from hibernate mode (Open)?

I think liammith mean trying to open "My Computer" which is really "Computer" in window 7, and it hangs (explorer.exe non responsive).

Sometimes it is very difficult to tell what they are trying to say, but after a while you get to know how to interpret their language.
