Hello

Just purchased a new HP- E9180T Desktop with i975 3.33 GHZ, I also got it with the RAID-0 Option , Sata 7200-RPM Drives. and 9-GB of DDR-3

My Question is Can I up-grade the Drives Keeping it RAID-0 , Only with 2- Intel
160-GB SSD Drives, Swaping out the 7200-RPM Sata Drives ?
I hop it can be down otherwise I am selling this PC

Thanks

Aloha

You provide me great relief, As I just sold my Alienware M17X which I had set-up with RAID-0 with Two SSD Drives And it smoked As far as opening /closing of programs / Booting up of windows. The best option I could get when buying this HP, was the Raid-0 in SATA 7200 rpm, .

I am guessing I will be best off using or, have to Use A Raid Card Can you suggest a good one to get.
I have Windows Vista Home 64-Bit , What is the smallest Sized SSD in RAID-0 would I want to go with.
I was looking at those Intel X25's Or Somthing like this, I want to make sure I get Quality and Fast SSD When I do this. Funny you can have the fastest chip and 9 gb Ram but if your hard drive is average.

Thanks
Wes
