I just finished my first build, and I was wondering if it is normal for windows vista 64 to show a floppy drive in the drive list, even though I don't have one installed. I can disable the drive in bios and it goes away but it still seemed kind of funny to me. Other than that everything is going great. Thanks.

Pretty much the same with any machine, and any window OS that i know of. If the Floppy drive is enable in the BIOS it will show in windows, dont know if this is for better functionality or something to do with windows not detecting them.

just disable the invisible floppy drive as a boot device... It never showed up for me, I'm assuming because I did that.
