Hey guys,

So i just got my Velociraptor and 2x Visiontec 4870 cards and the AC Accelero Rev.2 cooler and turbo models in. Installed the drive, installed the coolers on the cards (what a pain!) and pluged everything in and installed the crossfire cable, boots fine and I can see two graphics adapters under Device Manager, also Crossfire X is enabled in Catalyst, how do i find out if everything is working as it should? ATI overdrive is grayed out by the way.

Should I change something in the BIOS? DO I need some special cabling? All I have right now is a standard cable coming out of the main (top) card.

Download gpuz to be sure cf is enabled and go play games

Downloaded GPU-Z, awesome! Both boards are working fine and crossfire is enabled, thanks for the tip :)

One other thing though, I installed the hotfix and all but Stalker still crashes whenever I try to start it, did not have that problem with my previou nVidia card.

Also, do I need both Crossfire Bridges? I lost one and I only have one installed right now.....

I think you should only need 1 bridge per pair of cards.
