I have in mind to put both the OS and Applications (games) in two Samsung Spinpoint F3 500gb (16mb cache) set on raid 0. They top both the read/write performance charts and don't cost much. Is it good?

Also, would putting the OS in a 100$ SSD increase the games charging times? I guess not, because the games are stored in the normal disks.

Sorry if this is repetitive. Thanks.

I would just put the F3s in Raid 0.
