wWped my bios on my ECS 945GCT-M mainboard just get black screen when i power it on. trying to buy new chip do not know which one it is on the board, there was a sticker that said AMIbios thought that was it but when i tried to order one from biosman.com they said that was not the chicp. but it is the only one i could find that had a sticker that said bios.

has anyone ever ran into that before????

If it's a new board or it is under warranty, don't void the warranty. Rma it back to ECS. Contact them via the email link:

For the rma, just tell ecs the board won't post. They may charge you a handling fee. If the cost of the rma or time involved is too long, I would check newegg or mwave open box boards. You can get one in about 5-6 days. The rma to ecs could take 3 weeks.
