My external hard drive was working earlier today with no problems. Now the computer shows in the lower right habd corner that I have a mass storage device connected, but it doesn't show up when I go into my computer to open the hard drive... Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix?

Go to Disk management in the Control Panel and assign it a letter.
If there is a problem, tell us what you see there.
