Imaging to a RAID

Is it possible to image a single IDE drive and all of its contents (containing NT) to a RAID setup? I'm thinking it may be possible to install the drivers for the RAID card first, then image the contents over to a fresh RAID1 config. Thoughts? Anyone else tried this?

  1. Should be possible, but windows is very sensitive and you may get the infamous STOP 0x000007b error (unable to mount boot volume or something like that).

    Have no experience with this.
  2. I have done this multiple times using Acronis Drive Image for 32/64 bit OS. You can restore a SINGLE DRIVE IMAGE to a RAID DRIVE. It works for OS drive and DATA drive.
