You definitely don't need two cpu coolers, and I'm not sure what you plan to do with those Scythe fans, unless you plan to replace some of the Antec 900 case fans.

Also, step up to a 45nm CPU, and follow soGANGSTA's advice with the x38 (or x48) and 2x 4850s in crossfire.

That is a great motherboard- the one I have. You can get by however and do great with the Asus P5Q Pro. $149 and has just about everything P5E has with a newer chipset.

Q9450- Q9300 is a poor overclocker and not exactly a good value.

Instead of 2 x 4850 I would start with ONE 4870- $300 and runs all around 9800 GX2. Then if you want to add a second one you can.

PSU: PC Power and Cooling Quad 750

Yeah but he should stick with a x38 cause of the 2 pci express x16. Try one 4870 first and later you can get another one to work on your mobo. Don't get the p45 if you plan to Xfire cause those pci express slots are different speeds.

The lower the numbers the tighter the "timings" are the faster the RAM is.

DDR2-800 RAM clocked at 4-4-4-12 can usually downclock to DDR2-667 at 3-3-3-10 or upclocked to 1066 at 5-5-5-15.

Without getting into a highly technical explanation the lower the first number is the better the RAM *should* perform.

-I didn't add the GPU because I was unsure of which one I should get. Also
-I'm unsure about the HDD, GPU and the PSU.
-What should I overclock the RAM to?
-The games I will be playing are:
CounterStrike:Source, BattlefieldF2, BattleField2142, OrangeBox(TeamFortress 2 mainly), Crysis(if I can), and maybe BioShock. I'd like to max out whatever I can except Crysis.
-I might go over budget
-Thanks for your help so far.
Didn't see your post there Shadowthor. I'm not sure if I should get a x48.

....Well uhhh I don't really know the problem. Just assume I'm getting one of everything except the 640gb HDD.
Anyways:
-I'm unsure about the HDD, GPU and the PSU.
-What should I overclock the RAM to?
-x38 or x48
Not sure how to fix that multiple things problem though.
