Hey ppl im new HI. I am getting a  
 
xfx 790i 3 way sli mother board  
 
4gigs of DDR3 1200mhz Ocz Reaper series  
 
and a core2 extreme 3,4ghz 1600mhz fsb  
 
for the graphics card I thought i would got for a xfx 8800ultra because some one told me that the new 9 series arnt worth getting and the new 200 series . or i thought i shouls but a little 8800gt and get a core2 quad extreme 3,4ghz and wait for a new generation of graphics card ?

oh and i have a 19inch wide screen . so i will need the best card for my screen res . but i definatly think i should get a super cpu and wait for a  new generation of graphics cards

budget?

3x GTX 280 for your 19" screen sounds good.

Why do you need a Tri-SLi board for your low-low-low a5$ resolution?

try an ASUS X38 and a 4870. Already way more than best.

i think what pc gamer12 is point out that if your going to buy that much hardware for your box you will need to pay money for a decent sized monitor IE 26inch. secondly you never stated case\cpu cooler\psu\hdd\blue ray or dvd
 
if you tell us how much your willing to spend on a new gaming comp most of us can give you a fairly good idea of what you should be looking towards

Tri-sli is a waste of money on a 19" monitor. Just buy a P45 board, q9300, and a 4870. You will save more than 1000$ dollars, and the difference in perfomance would be minimal. If you really want to, but another 4870 for xfre, but thats still overkill for a 19"

You need to get 3 GTX 280's in triple SLI with 16gb of DDR3 1800MHz RAM and 20TB storage and 6 QX9775's.
 
And that's just for word processing. Can't imagine what gaming would require.

I want all that power to play games.... what else . but my question was wat card should i get?

my budget  is 21000rand

and the game i play alot is counter strike source and I hear that is a CPU based game

My old P4 2.8GHz and my 9800Pro 128-bit played CS:S fine on a 20" monitor.
 
For 19", A P45 chipset, E8200 and a 4850 will be wayyyyyy overkill for that game. It will also play any other Source engine game with ease.
