Ok? Wow... old slow computer parts are expensive.

They don't make them anymore and there's a small niche market for people refusing to buy new that would rather upgrade/replace with something compatible.

Edit: And are those computers worthless because you cannot game with them? What about someone looking to expand or open up a new office. Computers aren't cheap. They would be fine for office computing.

I kid you not... the Wal-Mart where I live has an FX class Nvidia GPU in a retail box for just under a $100. Big stickers on the box leave no doubt to the potential buyer that it is a gaming MONSTER.

Those FX nvidia chips were monsters...monster annoyances. Especially my brother's 5800 ultra with the gas powered leaf blower for a cooler.

Those 50 Dells made me laugh because we just recently deemed the better GX270/280s here unworthy and that's just for the pleebs doing Excel/Word and had them all replaced with C2Ds (w/ nice HD2400Pro).
