DDR2 1066 Mobo Issues! help!

Recently built a system with

X2 Black edition 5400 proc

Earthwatts 500 watt PSU

RAM - OCZ platinum DDR2 1066 2x1gb

Here is my problem. The board clearly supports DDR2 1066, and has voltage options exceeding both 2.1 and 2.3 volts (the rams voltage). However, the maximum manual speed I am shown in BIOS is DDR2 800. The system is stable at these speeds, but there appears to be no way to clock the ram to 1066? CPUZ shows the ram running at the 800 speeds, and under the listed voltage shows EPP timings for DDR2 1066 which match the product description @ 2.1 volts. Yet I cannot clock it to that speed. When I set the motherboard to auto detect speeds it sets the ram at PC2 5300 speeds... CPUZ (latest version) also shows under maximum bandwidth that the ram is PC2 5300, even when I am forcing the ram to PC2 6400 speeds (DDR2 800), I doubt OCZ sent me the wrong ram pieces, CPUZ shows that the part number is correct. I am utterly confused and just want my ram to run at 1066.

Latest BIOS is installed.

however, this is the problem, when I go to do so in BIOS the maximum manual clock I can set is 800, 1066 is not even shown. Do you have this board by chance?

Well for some reason I thought the new 65nm brisbanes were AM2+.. thus supporting 1066, I think the problem is that they are still AM2, is this correct?. I am still confused as to why CPUZ is displaying the ram incorrectly though.

Off topic, but since your an enthusiast perhaps you know if an x2 5400 Black edition should require a voltage increase to reach 3.2ghz? from what ive read it should not, but I BSOD when I booted with stock voltage.
