i have an old emachine w4685 here are the specs. http://www.techsupportforum.com/newt...ewthread&f=210
the power supply is going out and i was going to get a seasoinic 350w psu.

The problem i see is the power connectors. since it has a ultra ata hd and the psu has sata connectors. I am a little confused. will the psu still work?
or do i need adaptors....and where can i find them. Thanks

The PSu has molex connectors, and your HDD can use them. Look at these pictures for example:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowI...SE+80GB+3.5"+IDE+Ultra+ATA100+Hard+Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowI...cription=SeaSonic+SS-350SFE+350W+Power+Supply

Get this PSU:

OCZ StealthXStream OCZ600SXS 600W, $45 after rebate and shipping

Normally I'd prefer Seasonic to OCZ, but a 600W PSU is a lot more future-proof than a 350W. Of course, your PC will still consume just as much with either PSU, give or take a few % for efficiency differences.
