Hi all..
i'm newbie at here..
i need advice for my x4 9650 OC

my Spec:

X4 9650
DFI DK790FXB-M2RSH
CoreContact Freezer
Team Xtreme PC8500 2Gb kit
tagan BZ500
MSI 4870 OC

it's my last SS for daily OC n can't hit more :

when i hit @3.45GHz is unstable

my Question is :
- can i hit my x4 9650 more than above?n stable
- what can i do if i want hit more than above?

If you want a decent life outta that cpu then dont overclock any more.
A quad core at 3.2GHz is enough to max out any game and enough for all tasks.

that is a wonderful job on that 9650. The phenom I are kinda overclock dogs.
That is one chilly CPU 3.2 @ 32deg is really nice . heck my 9850 idles at stock at 35-40deg.
if you are just wanting to see how high you can take it you might push the volts up a bit I'm no expert but I think 1 you could go 1.5 on a phenom but not any higher than that.

I think you are kinda stuck there without an unlocked multiplier.

I would not try to push it any more. I think getting 3.2 (or the 3.0 I would run on that) out of an OC dog of a 2.3 is more than you could have hoped for.
