I am currently upgrading ram and I am not interested in oc'ing anything at all. I just want to find out what higher frequency I can purchase that will give me better performance just by dropping it in. I'm not sure if that is possible though. I currently have 1 stick of DDR2 266mhz. I want to buy 2 new DDR2 sticks of higher frequency. Not sure where to go from here though and what the system will allow.

This might help. I think DDR2 transfer rates begin at at 400MHz. 266MHz is DDR.

Well, as per cpu-z, it states that I have DDR2 266.5 MHZ PC2-4200 I know I can just add a another stick, but before I do that, I am wanting to see if I can raise the bar so to speak and put in higher MHZ DDR2
