Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good motherboard and cpu monitoring program that will run in Vista. Preferably something that will sound/display an alarm if certain thresholds are met, and even shut down if higher thresholds are met.

Thanks for the help!

Specs of the system?

For C2D/C2Q: RealTemp (Allows for shutdown or warning tone)

For AMD Phenom/II : CoreTemp (Won't warn)

For older CPUs: SpeedFan.

Sorry, I guess I didn't think that would make a difference. Here they are:

Asus z8na-d6 mobo
dual xeon e5520's
12 GB OCZ DDR3 1600
PNY NVidia Quadro FX3800

Thanks!

Ok, for those, use RealTemp for CPU (as it is the new Nehalem based CPU and not older than the C2D/C2Q) . As for the motherboard, you will probably have to use SpeedFan.
