Any other choice that leaves me with ample room for upgrade is applicable.
Also, at 1900x1200 which would be more bang for my buck?
2 HD4850 in CF

Cheap but I don't know if the warranty is good
or
HD4870 (Possibly 2 in CF it is more bang for my buck.)

the antec 1200 with out a doubt. the other cases are nice but i would go with the 1200 before any of the coolermasters you listed. but whats wrong with the 900?

well i havent seen toms come out with a review on the 4870 so untill then i would say wait or ( if what i read on toms is true) get the 4850 and crossfire it with a 4870 when we know how it performs. if it performs as good or better than the gtx 280 i would say get the 4870.

For that resolution, start with 1 4870 maybe with 1GB, then CF. Honestly, look at reviews for 1GB non-standard cards.

Your Antec Nine Hundred will fit the 4870 and 4850 CF easy. They are 9.5" cards and will fit in almost all cases. A 9" card fits into all cases with standard ATX motherboard.

What do you think about the heatsink? If I get a xigmatek 1823 will it fit in the Antec 900? Also where would I find a 4870 with 1gb? So should I get the Antec 900 or 1200?

I got the CM Stacker 830 Black and it is a really nice case, has a removable mobo tray and it has a lot of room and good airflow. The only thing I don't like about the case is, for some reason, the side panels are a pain to put back on after you remove them but other than that, it's a very nice case.

i would say stick with the 900. the 1200 will probably be louder. the artic cooling heatsink is a vary good heatsink. my friend ibuypower just got the amd version and it was working vary nice.

Uhh again, where would I find a HD4870 1gb? Also Antec 900 over the CM Stacker 830? Why is the black version more expensive than the silver version?

The black version is the 830 "Evolution" and the silver version is just the normal stacker 830 not sure exactly what the difference is though. Also, the Stacker is a VERY big case, probably one of the biggest I have seen, and it is the biggest I have ever used, it's quite heavy too.

the 830 black has a blue led fan. the silver one does not. and i cant find a 4870 1gb anywere.

the antec 900 has more fans. the 830 only has 2. the 900 has 3 120 and a 200mm on the top.

Hmmm I was thinking of getting additional 120mm fans for the 830 but for now, I'll get the Antec 900 and upgrade accordingly. Which is easier to take to college though? Imma make it now and in a year or so I'm off to college. Well thats the plan. Anyways get the HD 4870 512MB and CF accordingly right? With CF can I CF a HD4850 and a HD4870 or did I hear wrong? Sorry for so many questions I want to get this right.

Yeah, I bought 4 120mm side fans for Stacker 830, the lowest I have seen my graphics card was 33 degrees celcius, but, that was in the morning when it was cold in my room, it usually sits at 40-42 degrees celcius. So, if you do get the Stacker, make sure to get buy 4 fans for the side and possibly one fan for the top.

yes get the 4870 512mb. i have heard that the 4000 series is cf'able with the 4850 but i have not seen any one do it yet.

with the cases well personaly im a antec man. i have one, my bf has one they are just great cases all the way around. but im sure the coolermaster is good too. just a side note the antec has over 2000 reviews on newegg. the coolermaster only has about 150.

I think you should read the techreport review on the 4870 to see if its going to be all you need for your resolution.

I think you should check out the Lian Li Lancool K10. It isn't flashy at all, but if offers good cooling, plenty of space to work in (I own it), solid construction, and a removable motherboard tray. I think 3dgameman did a video review on it, but I can't recall for sure. The fans on the case are crazy good too, they are about on par with my 120mm nexus fan in terms of airflow and quietness.

+1

The CM Stacker Case is a BEAST and I absolutely love it. I have 5 fans (1 top, one front, one back, 2 side) and it keeps things very cool. After hours of Age of Conan my SLI 9800 GTXs are in the 56-59 Celsius range. I'm probably going to add 2 more fans to the side.

If you got the money the Silverstone TJ-09 is a very good and large case as well. First class built and all but it's rather expansive.

How loud is the CM Stacker Evolution 830 in comparison to the Antec 900? Also how loud is the lian li lancool. I'm going to be sleeping in the same room as it. I'm either gonna get one of the three but it gets harder to decide with every opinion.
