ok that pretty much my pc i will be using amd overdrive and i have amd cool n quite on which is making my processor work at ( 1.3 ) suppose to be (2.6) i might turn off cool and quiet ..... also my 4870 x2 is 85 degrees this getting to hot???

If your 4870 temp is at idle, yes, that's too hot.

i fixed my video card temp !!!! turns out the fan speed on default is really slow so i turned it up from 27 % to 35 % now got 55 degrees wow that helped a lot...


please someone help me overclock that my info at top ive tryed to overclock but i guess i did something wrong and it crashed lol at 3.1 speed that was months ago i havent tryed recently but with these new games coming out soon i wanna overclock my processor .....

The original Phenoms (unlike the improved Phenom IIs) are not very OCable. I wouldn't expect to get over 2.9GHz with your model.
As for the settings, check out the excellent OC guides among the forum stickies. Good luck!
