Hi I recently purchased the mentioned video card for 50 bucks flat, supposedly 'brand new' in a sealed box from compusa (which I believe is bought over by Tigerdirect now) So I open the box and the part where the video card is secured in by the screw inside my motherboard had to be slightly bent back into place just to fit. Anyways, I pop the card in the fan is noisey (loud but not making any weird mechanical noises) I checked this online and it's supposedly how it is, so whatever I look on the back of the card where there is supposed to be a 'white' sticker with a serial, but it's green (I don't know if it's green now because ATi is owned by AMD, or it's a refurbished card?" Anyone know if that means it's been used?

Anyway when I do stuff on my desktop such as load up windows media player, whenever I enter/exit it my screen flickers a fast green/blue during, my friend told me it's because it's slow initiliazing directx, if I disable the acceleration in dxdiag it doesn't do that. I've tried many drivers. Is this a faulty card or just the way this card works? I'm not sure if it's worth all the hassle of contacting manufacturer if i'm just going to get the same card back I only paid 50 for. Thanks!
