I have an Athlon 4000+ socket 939, and I cannot get my new Core-Contact Freezer (120mm) by Sunbeam to fit. It seems like the fasteners on the heatsink do not extend long enough to attach to the motherboard. Has anyone else ran into a problem like this?

heres the cooler:

Umm... the fasteners on that heatsink should attach to any modern AMD chip without a problem. It should simply clip on to the thick plastic retention ring on your motherboard like a stock heatsink would. Look at the instructions.

I got it to work, I had to bend it a lot to get it to fit.
